Introducing Scott Macek
If you’ve started a project with us recently, you probably spoke with Scott Macek, our new sales associate. Scott joined us in May and quickly proved an excellent fit at Fourslide. From evaluating new quotes to sourcing material and helping ensure that returning business runs as smoothly as it ever has, his versatile background in manufacturing and management has made him a significant asset to the team.
Scott’s manufacturing experience began with a summer job running machines for a company that makes bonding and grounding hardware for utility companies. After college, he spent nine years learning the company’s production, ordering, quality assurance, and sales processes. Scott changed careers and spent a decade as a pharmacy assistant manager before returning to the manufacturing industry.
Why join our team here at Fourslide? Scott enjoys learning new things and seeing the inner workings of a company firsthand. He also likes the personal feel of working for a small business and enjoys the challenge of a high-volume, fast-paced job.
Scott was born in Tarrytown, New York, but has lived in Connecticut for most of his life and now lives in Colebrook. He attended Northwest Regional 7 High School and the Maine College of Art, where he obtained a BFA in sculpture. In his free time, Scott enjoys woodworking, going to flea markets, and fishing while vacationing on the Cape with his girlfriend.
